Sushi By Bou / Bae

Sushi by Bou and Sushi by Bae are sibling sushi speakeasy brands under the SimpleVenue umbrella. Sushi By Bou’s concept is “Sushi for the People,” accessible, affordable omakase for diners who want an experience. Sushi by Bou does a 30-minute, 12-course omakase and they specialize in the “mirco-restaurant” model, having opened locations in some of the most unexpected places — including inside the iconic Versace Mansion in Miami and in the heart of midtown Manhattan, where they opened the world’s first restaurant inside a hotel room suite. Their sister concept, Sushi by Bae, is headlined by one of the only female sushi chefs in the nation. Sushi by Bae flies in the freshest produce from Japan and serves a leisurely 90-minute, 15-course omakase. Design and marketing for both of these brands is inspired by both their Japanese and New York origins, which both feature a mix of watercolor textures and patterns as well as street graffiti art.
