Alexis Carranza is a New York City–based Creative Director and graphic designer specializing in hospitality, brand systems, and experiential marketing.
She previously served as Marketing and Creative Director at SimpleVenue, an innovative restaurant group known for its high-end, micro-space concepts — Sushi by Bou, Sushi Suite, Wagyu Room, and Omakaseed. During her tenure, Sushi by Bou expanded nationally across multiple markets, with average gross revenues exceeding $1.2M per location. The brand operated within a compact 500–700 sq ft footprint and a highly efficient, scalable model that maximized revenue per square foot.
Prior to that, Alexis was Creative Director and Managing Partner at Paige Hospitality, where she led brand development and marketing strategy across multiple concepts. She built cohesive visual identities, directed creative teams, curated social channels, and oversaw PR and marketing initiatives. During her tenure, the group’s flagship brand, The Ainsworth, generated over $100M in revenue, with Alexis playing an integral role in its physical expansion and digital growth.
Across her leadership roles, Alexis has contributed to the opening of more than 50 restaurants across dozens of cities — including New York City, Chicago, Nashville, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and South Florida — translating creative vision into scalable, market-ready brands.
She holds a BFA from The University of Texas–Pan American. In addition to her hospitality work, Alexis produces private client work spanning television, fitness, beauty, healthcare, education, finance, and travel.
